The Thomas R. Brown Foundation, together with the UA Eller College Office of Economic Education, is pleased to present a panel discussion on climate change. On November 14, 2019 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., Dr. Joellen Russell, Thomas R. Brown Distinguished Chair of Integrative Science in the UA College of Science, and UA Economist Dr. Derek Lemoine will discuss the science behind measuring carbon levels in the atmosphere and the oceans, and the potential impact of carbon tax policies. Can carbon taxes bend the curve of greenhouse gas emission levels? How might such a tax be administered, and how would it work?

This program will be open to the public, so teachers, you may invite your students, family, colleagues and friends. However, if you wish to have a guaranteed seat, you will need to register.
