Fall 2020 Economics Book Club

If you are looking for intellectual stimulation and practical content and strategies for teaching economic principles, then this self-paced virtual book club is for you! Join us to explore economic history through Fifty Inventions That Shaped the Modern Economy by the eminently readable and witty British economist Tim Harford. Arizona educators will find fascinating content for middle or high school social studies, history, business, economics, and career-tech ed.

We will send registrants a copy of the book and host a Google classroom to facilitate discussion through November 15. (Note: Participation will require  a personal (non-school) Google account, which is easy to set up and free).  We will also host a short Zoom kickoff presentation on Tuesday October 6 with dinner provided via Grubhub!
