Running a Classroom Mini-economy

  • Eller College 1130 East Helen Street Room 113 Tucson, AZ, 85719 United States (map)

Teachers, the new Arizona Standards in Economics can be a challenge to implement in a time-starved elementary classroom, especially because of the new emphasis on personal finance. Luckily, you can help your students learn most of the concepts while having fun participating in a classroom economy. Classroom economies not only teach important economic and personal finance concepts, they have the added benefit of high participation and organic, hands-on learning. Join us on October 26 for a half-day workshop at the University of Arizona Eller College, where you will learn how to implement the classroom economy from current elementary teachers who have grown to love it. You will receive all necessary materials to start your own classroom economy as well as tips from the pros. All at no cost to you, but you must register for the workshop.
